Ten ‘keepsake’ silicone wristbands are included with the purchase of every biopod. The ‘Genesis biopod: habitat for sustaining ocean life’ quote is molded into the bands.

Placing the cremains in this bag and then tucking the filled bag into the pod keeps particles from being blown by any wind. The funeral home or crematorium can place the cremains in the bag and then the pod if it is uncomfortable for you. |

Once on the boat and when you are about ready to lower the pod into the ocean, feed one end of the rope into one of the two holes in the pod, then out the other one. Holding both ends of the rope, slowly lower the pod into the ocean. The pod will lower about 50 feet over the side of the boat. When you come to the ends of the rope, let go of ONE end while holding onto the other end and the pod will be released to the ocean floor. This is a nice symbolic way ‘letting go’ of the deceased. Please make sure to keep the rope and not let it go into the ocean.
