Ten ‘keepsake’ silicone wristbands are included with the purchase of every biopod. The ‘Genesis biopod: habitat for sustaining ocean life’ quote is molded into the bands.

100% natural silicone

Placing the cremains in this bag and then tucking the filled bag into the pod keeps particles from being blown by any wind. The funeral home or crematorium can place the cremains in the bag and then the pod if it is uncomfortable for you.

Once the cremains are in the water soluble cremains bag and then in the pod, place the pod in the tote bag for easy transport to the harbor then onto the boat. The bag has a convenient shoulder strap.

100% natural cotton tote

Writing good-bye notes on the top of the pod can be a great way to say goodbye in a personal way. This can be done on the boat or at anytime prior to the event and is nice for kids and adults.

Certified non-toxic ink

Once on the boat and when you are about ready to lower the pod into the ocean, feed one end of the rope into one of the two holes in the pod, then out the other one. Holding both ends of the rope, slowly lower the pod into the ocean. The pod will lower about 50 feet over the side of the boat. When you come to the ends of the rope, let go of ONE end while holding onto the other end and the pod will be released to the ocean floor. This is a nice symbolic way ‘letting go’ of the deceased. Please make sure to keep the rope and not let it go into the ocean.

Once the pod is lowered into the ocean the bag will completely dissolve within five minutes. Soon the ocean current will start to wash the cremains out of the pod and transform it into a new marine habitat for ocean life.
